Refunds Policy

The Size Guarantee

If The BARE Hug isn't the biggest towel you've ever owned, tell us within 30 days of delivery, even if you've used it. Send it back to us and we'll refund your order in full. Return postage is paid by you.

 

Change of mind

You can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Return postage is paid by you.

 

Refunds

Once your return arrives, we'll inspect it and refund your original payment method within 3–5 business days. We'll email you at each step.

 

Damaged or faulty

If something arrives damaged or faulty, email hello@thebarehug.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace it or refund you. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Order Process

Orders are processed in 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Items that are pre-ordered are processed within 1-2 business days of their arrival in stock.

Orders that are successfully placed will receive an e-mail confirmation with the order details. If you haven't received an email, please check your spam folder or contact us for confirmation.

If you have any questions about your order, please contact us right away at hello@thebarehug.com We will be unable to make changes to your order once it has been shipped.

Please double-check that you have entered the correct address. We are not liable for non-delivery due to address errors that you provide. We will refund the original order if an order is returned due to an incorrect address.

For orders under that, a small shipping fee applies (we promise it’s worth it).
Available Australia-wide, and sometimes during special promos, we’ll even surprise you with free shipping — just because.

How long does it take to receive my order?

We know you’re excited — we are too.
Orders are packed and processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

If your order includes a presale item, it will be shipped within 1–2 business days of its arrival in stock — so you’ll be among the first to receive it once it lands.

Archive pieces may take a little longer to dispatch and will ship separately from regular orders — they’re worth the wait, we promise.

Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking email so you can keep an eye on your Bare Hug making its way to you.
How will my order be shipped?

Each Bare Hug is carefully packed and shipped using trusted courier partners to make sure it arrives safely — and beautifully.

For Australian orders, we use Australia Post or other reliable local couriers depending on your delivery address.
International orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL, ensuring secure and trackable delivery wherever you are in the world.

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link so you can follow your Bare Hug’s journey home.

My order has already been shipped but I need to update the address. What should I do?

Reach out to us as soon as you can, we’ll do our best to help before your Bare Hug lands in the wrong hands.

Once an order has shipped, address changes aren’t always possible, but we’ll contact the courier on your behalf to try.
Please note, some couriers may charge a rerouting fee for any delivery updates.
